Spain 2009

Natalie and I were asked to work for John Dean out in Spain for a week.

When we arrived, it was pouring down with rain and the hotel was in complete darkness due to a power cut!!! We walked down to the hall where Elma was trying to teach in the dark and obviously with no sound!! Nothing stops linedancers though, they'll dance no matter what the circumstances!!!

The weather brightened up a bit for the rest of the week, and it was a lovely, sort of relaxing week, workshops every morning by the beach bar! ;-)

Glenn Rogers, John and Natalie performed alternate nights - which was great, and myself and Elma were the instructors with Steve Mason – DJ’ing for the week - great combination.

We met some wonderful people, and the Irish crowd were such a laugh! As well as catching up with people we see around the UK circuit and meeting new friends from various countries including Denmark, Holland & Spain.
